Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura, Adviser to National Skill Development Corporation for Skill India International Mission, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship(MSDE), Government of India and also Adviser to Govt of Punjab ( Skill Development & Technical Education ) has many ‘Firsts’ to his credit during his career :

His appointment as Adviser Skill Development is First of its kind with a Chief Minister in India.
He has exhibited his leadership skills by setting up of First of its kind “Strong Skills Eco-system in Punjab” with 300 Skill Development Centres comprises of Multi Skill Development Centres, Health Skill Development Centres, CSR based Industry owned Skill Centres, Urban and Rural.
He has organized First of its kind in India “High End Job Fairs” for recruitment of youths at higher pay package.

He has been actively involved for signing First of its kind in World, a tripartite MOU between Punjab Skill Development Mission, AIIMS Bathinda and Punjab Ghar Ghar Rozgar and Karobar Mission (PGRKM) to set up centre of excellence in Health Sectos at AIIMS Bathinda for training of 200 nurses as “Respiration Therapists”.
Under his stewardship, Govt of Punjab set up First of its kind in India “Foreign Study and Employment Cell” to facilitate the migration of youth of Punjab to foreign countries through skilling and education mode under Government to Government partnership by setting up Overseas Skill Development A MOU in this regard signed with Province of Alberta Canada and with UK Govt through British Dy High Commission
He is working very closely with Industry and Foreign Universities for setting up of Industry Centres of Excellence at upcoming Skill University near IIT Ropar with top MNCs like Siemens, IBM, Oracle, Tata Technologies
